Newtongrange
the Pentland Hills in the distance
Looking down at my home village of Newtongrange from fields on the hill to the east - soon to be to he site of new housing. In the village the winding gear at the National Mining Museum and the distinctive church are visible along with the rows of miners cottages. In the distance, to the west, is the ridge of the Pentland Hills.
