Loch Lomond from Conic Hill
looking across the Loch to the west
Conic Hill rises above Balmaha on the eastern shore of Loch Lomond. This is the view looking to the west across the loch. The line of islands running east - west across Loch Lomond, Beinn Ruisg on the far shore and Conic Hill itself, mark the Highland Boundary Fault the geological boundary between the Scottish Highlands to the north and Lowlands to the south.
